Denard Uy was recently appointed this year as the new Manager of the Licensed Services Data and Compliance Unit in the Healthcare Information Division of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). In that capacity, he and his staff have the responsibility for overseeing the annual collection of facility-level utilization, financial, and patient data from hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, hospices, and home health agencies which includes over 5,000 individual facilities. Denard has worked for OSHPD since 2006. Prior to that, he worked as a student assistant in the state's WIC program at the Department of Health Services performing compliance investigations on authorized WIC vendors. Denard received a bachelor's degree in Economics from the California State University, Sacramento in 2005 and is an avid golfer. He enjoys spending time with his 3 year-old son, Dylan.
