Dr Takele Geressu is a public health practitioner with over two decades of experience managing a variety of health programs at the subnational and national levels. He has held positions with the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia, Irish Aid, Ipas, and African Network for Drugs and Diagnostic Innovation and has been appointed to numerous technical working groups and task forces involved in strategic health planning and healthcare reform. As a free-lance consultant, he served with the UNFPA and the Africa Union to win the support of African Heads of States and Governments for CARMMA (Campaign for Accelerated Reduction of Maternal Mortality in Africa).
