Dr. Aragon is the Health Officer of the City & County of San Francisco, and Director of the Population Health Division at the SF Department of Public Health. As health officer, he exercises leadership and legal authority to protect and improve health and health equity. As PHD Director he oversees public health services. He teaches epidemiologic computing at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, and is interested in the practical application of decision and complexity sciences to health leadership and organization performance. He is a fellow in the UC San Francisco California Health Care Foundation Leadership Program, and the NACCHO Health Officials Survive & Thrive Program.
