Objectives:

Participants in this workshop will:

Recognize key features of dialogue as they relate to effective interpersonal engagement with colleagues on issues of health equity, unearned privilege, and the various forms of oppression that contribute to health inequity.
Understand the value of new language and conceptual frameworks in making unearned privilege and modern forms of oppression visible to those who otherwise will not see them.
Develop and apply strategies for engaging colleagues in challenging conversations about oppression and privilege based on race, class, gender, and other forms of difference.
