Chris Kirk is the Chief Program Officer at Norwescap where he leads a team to develop, implement, and evaluate a broad portfolio of social impact strategies across northern New Jersey. Dr. Kirk's career began in youth services where he served as a minister, counselor, and school-based non-profit leader. After witnessing the failure of community settings and systems to support families, he pursued a doctorate in Community Psychology where he learned new approaches and tools for pursuing social justice. Later, Dr. Kirk completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Applied Community Psychology and created the Community Engagement and Health Improvement Team at Atlantic Health System. He was a fellow of the National Leadership Academy for the Public's Health in 2014.
