Ingebjørg Irgens is a physician specializing in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. She has been the CEO of the Norwegian PRM Association and is now a delegate in the UEMS- PRM Association. She also acts as a Sunnaas delegate for a reference group working on a project regarding digital home monitoring with the South Eastern Health Authorities in Norway. Irgens is also member of the Nordic Network Telerehab., board member of Sustain Our Abilities, and member of the Telehealth Special Interest Group (SIG) at ISCoS.
Over the last 8 years, Irgens has been working with outpatient telehealth services, and as she nears the en dof her fellowship, has been working with pressure injury, cost-benefit and environmental impact of telehealth in the group of individuals with spinal cord injury.
