The racial health disparities of the COVID-19 pandemic, combined with one of the most significant modern movements for social justice, have made 2020 a year for leaders and policymakers to ask tough questions about equity and commit to meaningful action.

In a live conversation with Adaeze Enekwechi, Mary Pittman, and Lisa Simpson, hear first-hand how leaders from across the spectrum of research, policy, and practice are grappling with issues of health equity during the COVID-19 crisis and where they see opportunities for progress.

This 30-minute session kicks off Equity in COVID-19: Bridging the Gap Between Public Health and Policy, a new Web Forum series brought to you by the Public Health Institute (PHI) and IMPAQ. The series will explore in-the-news topics such as mental health, housing and health outcomes, and environmental health and climate change, to provide actionable insights for addressing issues of equity by translating research into policy and practice. Those who join the Executive Conversation on October 20 will have a chance to provide input on our upcoming sessions.
